Ambulance siren

Lots of people don’t know that there is a difference between an ambulance siren and a police one. The ambulance is a bit louder (the speaker is mounted on the outside) and it has more of a reverb to its siren whereas the police has a high pitched sound and its not that loud. The police siren speaker is mounted near the engine.

Of course there is also the sound from the firetruck siren but we’ll talk about that one in another episode.
